How the service desks work

Each Carers In Mind service desk is led by a consultant who has placed in that part of the sector before. They know the differences between a CAMHS support worker and an adult mental health support worker. They know the providers, the local authority frameworks, and the pay scales that move candidates this quarter.

That focus matters because mental health care is not one labour market. The screen for a crisis-intervention candidate is different from the screen for a memory-care assistant. The references say different things. The right candidate looks different across services.
